Xobrania participated in the Zendari Song Contest for the first time in Zendari Song Contest 2. The Xobranian Public Broadcaster announced their intention to take part on December 27th 2017. On January 5th 2018, the broadcaster introduced Chelsea Jade as the first ever Xobranian entrant, with the song "Life of the Party".
History
Zendari Song Contest 1
Although not being on the lineup of participating nations in the first edition, Xobrania broadcasted both semi-finals as well as the grand final and was granted to vote as a special juror in the grand final.
Zendari Song Contest 2
Xobrania has confirmed to debut in the second edition. On January 5th 2018, Chelsea Jade was chosen as Xobrania's first entrant in the Zendari Song Contest, as she was internally selected by the Xobranian Public Broadcaster with the song "Life of the Party". On February 6th 2018, the country eventually finished 17th out of 27 participants in the grand final, with 77 points.
Zendari Song Contest 3
The Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed on February 7th 2018 that the Xobranian entry will still be selected via an internal selection. On February 10th 2018, it was revealed that Transviolet would represent the country with the song "Pretty Head". On March 8th 2018, the country eventually finished 20th out of 27 participants in the grand final, with 75 points.
Zendari Song Contest 4
The Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed on March 9th 2018 that the Xobranian entry will still be selected via an internal selection. On March 11th 2018, it was revealed that Alison Wonderland would represent the country with the song "Church". On April 8th 2018, the country eventually finished 4th out of 27 participants in the grand final, with 131 points.
Zendari Song Contest 5
After their 4th place success in Zendari Song Contest 4, Xobrania was given an automatic qualifier spot and consequently didn't have to compete in semi-finals. The Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed on April 9th 2018 that the Xobranian entry will still be selected via an internal selection. On April 12th 2018, it was revealed that Mayka would represent the country with the song "Rich". On May 17th 2018, the country eventually finished 18th out of 27 participants in the grand final, with 71 points.
Zendari Song Contest 6
On May 5th 2018, during the 5th edition, the Xobranian Public Broadcaster announced that the next Xobranian entry will still be selected via an internal selection. On May 20th 2018, it was revealed that Alice Glass would represent the country with the song "Without Love". On June 26th 2018, the country eventually finished 14th out of 27 participants in the grand final, with 89 points.
Zendari Song Contest 7
The Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed on June 26th 2018 that the Xobranian entry will still be selected via an internal selection. On June 27th 2018, it was revealed that Sabina Ddumba would represent the country with the song "Small World". On July 22th 2018, the country failed to qualify for the first time, finishing 14th out of 20 participants in the second semi-final, with 49 points. However on July 30th 2018, it was revealed that Xobrania was originally going to qualify, winning the international jury voting, until Zerox was forced to change their votes in order to prevent the qualification of Xobrania. This event led to a lot of trouble inside the country and even in the whole Zendari world, thus causing a lack of interest from the Xobranian audience.
Zendari Song Contest 8
Following their first non-qualification, the Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed on July 23th 2018 that the Xobranian entry will be selected publicly via a national final. For the first time, the brand new show Starbrania will be used to find out the Xobranian entry. After the events that occurred on July 30th 2018, Xobrania expressed their intention to withdraw. However, considering they already had opened voting for Starbrania, the Xobranian Public Broadcaster decided to give themselves another chance in the contest. On August 1st 2018, Xobrania was given an automatic qualifier spot in Zendari Song Contest 8 in compensation, they would consequently not have to compete in semi-finals. On August 25th 2018, Vendredi sur Mer won Starbrania Xel Aviv and was given the right to represent her country with the French song "La femme à la peau bleue", marking the first time Xobrania would sing in another language than English. Although, on the same day, XPB confirmed that Xobrania would not participate in Zendari Song Contest 9 due to the lack of interest in the contest following previous incidents. On September 23rd 2018, the country eventually finished 18th out of 28 participants in the grand final, with 70 points.
Zendari Song Contest 9
Although not being on the lineup of participating nations in the ninth edition, Xobrania broadcasted both semi-finals as well as the grand final. The country also voted as part of the international jury.
Zendari Song Contest 10
The Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed their return on October 28th 2018, following the erasure of Vendujo. XPB also announced on the same day that the Xobranian entry will be selected via an internal selection. On November 15th 2018, it was revealed that So Below would represent the country with the song "Ruin". On December 23rd 2018, Xobrania eventually won the contest with 202 points, thus celebrating the country's first victory.
Zendari Song Contest 11
The Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed on January 2nd 2019 that Xobrania will host Zendari Song Contest 11 and that the Xobranian entry will be selected via an internal selection. On January 11th 2019, it was revealed that Ella Eyre would represent the country with the song "Comeback". On February 11th 2019, Xobrania eventually won the contest again with 218 points, thus celebrating the country's second victory in a row, as well as a record-breaking final score.
Zendari Song Contest 12
The Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed on February 11th 2019 that Xobrania will host Zendari Song Contest 12 and that the Xobranian entry will be selected via an internal selection. On February 28th 2019, it was revealed that MARUV would represent the country with the song "Black Water". On March 29th 2019, Xobrania eventually won the contest again with 171 points, thus celebrating the country's third victory in a row, a first in the history of Zendari.
Zendari Song Contest 13
The Xobranian Public Broadcaster has confirmed on March 29th 2019 that Xobrania will host Zendari Song Contest 12 and that the Xobranian entry will be selected via an internal selection. On April 22th 2019, it was revealed that Tove Lo would represent the country with the song "Stranger".
